More than a year after a public controversy, Israel's State Attorney's Office has permanently closed the criminal case against reality TV star and former Big Brother contestant Abraham Aklum. The case had been opened after a complaint filed by his ex-wife, Sapir Borgil, on suspicion of a serious sex offense.
Aklum and Borgil met on camera during their time on Big Brother, later became a highly publicized couple, and eventually married. They split only a few months later in a very public breakup, which was followed by the police complaint and the criminal investigation that had been under way in recent months.
Aklum's attorney, Shosh Hion, said that since her office took the case, it had worked
