Wikipedia has permanently blocked co-founder Larry Sanger from editing the site after he launched a project last month called "intellectual diversity." The initiative was meant to increase the online encyclopedia’s neutrality by recruiting editors with conservative and pro-Israel views.
Wikipedia editors accused Sanger of skewing discussions, and the push to remove him was led by an editor who had previously been involved in freezing the introduction to the Zionism entry in a way that compared the movement to "ethnic cleansing."
Sanger criticized the decision, saying, "I am stunned, there is no fair process here, and people are being blocked by an faceless mob."
