The Israel Home Front Command said that on Tuesday it will conduct a drill and test of the warning and siren systems in the Majdal Shams area in the northern Golan Heights. The planned test is scheduled for 12:05 p.m., and sirens will be heard in the village and nearby surroundings as part of a routine exercise to check the sirens’ proper operation.
The security authorities said that if a real alert is triggered during the drill, an additional rising and falling siren will sound immediately afterward. At the same time, the backup warning systems will also be activated, including pop-up alerts in the official Home Front Command app.
For more information, questions, or real-time updates, the public is asked to contact the Home Front Command hotline at 104, send a WhatsApp message to 052-9104104, or follow updates on the national emergency portal, oref.org.il, and the command’s official social media channels.
