From Cyprus, Eden Harel reveals her family tradition
News 14 host Eden Harel, who is vacationing in Cyprus with her family, revealed their regular holiday tradition, born out of the children's needs: a separate room for the boys and a separate room for the girls. In a video she posted online, she shared, “I have no idea what goes on in the boys’ room, come on, who cares?” According to her, the girls’ side is always full of photo shoots, clothes fittings and lots of laughter.
As a reminder, just before barrages were launched from Iran toward the State of Israel, Eden Harel and Oded Menashe flew off on vacation. In a video she posted online, Harel said she had not imagined things would unfold this way: “I did not plan to arrive on my family vacation and find myself in the middle of a crazy event that I still don’t know what to call.” In a series of Instagram videos, she described the mixed feelings that accompanied her after her two sons, Noam Israel, the eldest, who got married at the beginning of the year, and Uria, who enlisted in combat service in March, remained in Israel: “I left my soldier son and my married son in the country.”
To her relief, the campaign was shorter than expected and after a night of exchanges of blows, Tehran announced the end of operations against Israel.
Against this backdrop, Middle East expert Yoni Ben Menachem addressed this morning the exchanges of blows between Iran and the United States, and clarified that the two are determined to prevent the escalation of tensions: “Neither Iran, nor the United States, and certainly not Trump, who is eager to reach an agreement, has an interest in escalating the war.” According to him, despite the escalation, the sides want to prevent further deterioration and therefore “within a few hours a ceasefire will be declared again.”
