Adir Barak, who was voted out of Big Brother about two weeks ago, discussed his time in the house on "Reality Check" with Israel Oglovo and Shai Leniado. During the episode, he said he developed a complicated relationship with Gal Rubin, a dynamic that drew criticism from other housemates and viewers alike.
Barak said Rubin had told him several times that she thought she was too old for him, and he replied, "Let me decide for myself who is too old for me and who is not. That does not scare me." He added that her being a mother of six did not deter him, and insisted that from the start he had felt drawn to her.
He said he had originally expected to connect with contestants like Eliran, Omer and Gal, but said there was no chemistry with the first two, who, in his words, "blocked" him from day one. By contrast, he said the connection with Rubin was "very natural," adding, "There are many girls in Big Brother, there is only one woman."
Barak also responded to claims that his closeness to Rubin was strategic, addressed the criticism he has received since leaving the house, and shared his views on the other contestants. He also went on the attack against Rafaela, saying, "She is driven by jealousy and pure malice."
