Ayla Gassson Claims Israeli Right-Wing Public Most Slandered

Media personality and journalist Ayla Gassson has launched a strong criticism against the way the Israeli right-wing public is portrayed in media outlets and studios. In an interview with Eli Zipori on Radio Galey Israel, Gassson asserted that the right-wing is undoubtedly the most slandered public in Israel.

Gassson argued that those holding right-wing views are often denied a platform in studios, characterizing the treatment as condescending. She also pointed to what she described as artificial divisions within the right, such as 'state-oriented right' and 'royal right,' questioning the origin of these labels.

Elaborating on her definition of a right-winger, especially in the context of the October 7th events, Gassson stated it first and foremost involves a security-oriented perspective. She defined a right-winger as someone who believes "the Land of Israel is a state of the Jewish people and not a state of all its citizens."

Furthermore, Gassson addressed political and economic aspects, clarifying that a right-winger is someone who would not form a government with Mansour Abbas, not due to his ethnicity but due to alleged ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. She acknowledged that differing economic viewpoints can exist within the right.

Gassson concluded by unequivocally stating that being a right-winger is a great source of pride.
