Israeli Parties to Hold Pre-Election Debate for Russian-Speaking Voters in Tel Aviv

Russian-speaking representatives from various Israeli political parties will participate in a pre-election debate on September 8th at the "Dacha TLV" cultural space in Tel Aviv. The event is organized by the youth organization "Shishi Shabbat Israeli" (SSI) and aims to provide Russian-speaking voters with direct access to party platforms and candidates ahead of the upcoming Knesset elections on October 27th.

The debate is scheduled to take place a month and a half before the elections for the 26th Knesset. Organizers stated the goal is to allow voters to directly understand party positions, ask questions, and hear discussions among candidates. The evening will begin with an overview of Israel's electoral system, participating parties, and Knesset formation principles, followed by the main debate segment.

According to SSI, official Russian-speaking representatives from most political parties, including current Knesset members and candidates, are expected to attend. They will present their platforms, answer audience questions, and discuss current political issues. A full list of participants will be released later. The event emphasizes providing voters with direct information from party representatives before they cast their ballots.

"Shishi Shabbat Israeli" (SSI) is a non-profit organization founded in 2010 that focuses on Russian-speaking youth in Israel.
