Man Fatally Shot in Front of His Home in Nazareth
A man in his thirties, identified as Mahmoud Bayatra, was killed on Thursday evening after being shot while sitting in the courtyard of his home in Nazareth. The Magen David Adom (MDA) emergency services received a report at 6:45 PM regarding a violent incident. Medical teams arrived at the scene and provided initial treatment before transporting the victim to the Italian Hospital in Nazareth in critical condition. He was pronounced dead later due to his severe injuries.
Alaa al-Din Bashir, a paramedic with MDA's motorcycle unit, stated that upon arrival, the victim was found unconscious, without a pulse or breathing. Advanced resuscitation efforts, including artificial respiration and medication, were administered before he was transported to the hospital by intensive care ambulance, with his condition described as extremely critical.
The police reported that a large force was dispatched to the crime scene immediately after the report. They initiated extensive searches of the area for suspects and began collecting forensic evidence to determine the circumstances of the incident and identify the victim, whose identity was initially unknown.
