Tali Gottlieb to Run with Otzma Yehudit, Remains Likud Member
The Likud party announced an agreement allowing Member of Knesset Tali Gottlieb to run in the upcoming 26th Knesset elections as part of the Otzma Yehudit faction, without being declared a defector from Likud. Under the terms of the agreement, Gottlieb will adhere to Likud's factional discipline in all votes until the October elections.
The Likud party stated, "We wish Tali success." This arrangement permits Gottlieb to compete on the Otzma Yehudit slate while maintaining her affiliation with Likud, avoiding the implications of being formally recognized as having left the party.
