October 7 Victims Group Slams Netanyahu's Schedule, Demands Inquiry

The "October 7 Council," an organization representing victims of the October 7th Hamas attacks, has sharply criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's schedule on the day of the massacre. The group highlighted that Netanyahu was awake for three hours without speaking to the IDF Chief of Staff, a period during which hostages were still alive and under threat.

"Three hours he was awake. Three hours he did not find it appropriate to speak with the Chief of Staff. Three hours they were still alive," the organization stated, adding, "A state commission of inquiry or the next massacre."

According to the schedule released by Netanyahu's office, the Prime Minister's first situation assessment on October 7th, which included the Defense Minister, Chief of Staff, head of Shin Bet, National Security Advisor, and head of the Operations Directorate, took place at 9:55 AM. Following this meeting, Netanyahu reportedly instructed a complete sealing of the border to prevent hostages from being taken into Gaza and to stop further terrorists from entering Israel.
