Model Shahar Hayon Embraces Religious Observance Post-October 7

Successful Israeli model Shahar Hayon has spoken about her deepening religious faith and its growing importance in her life. In a recent interview with Channel 16, Hayon shared details of her spiritual journey.

She explained that divine testing focuses on one's heart and intentions, not solely on outward appearances or modesty. "God tests the heart and kidneys," Hayon stated, contrasting this with external judgments about dress or "guarding one's eyes." She revealed that although she comes from a traditional home, she began observing the Sabbath on October 7, the day of Hamas's attack on Israel. Hayon felt this was a meaningful contribution she could make amidst the difficult events.

When asked if she had turned down work due to her Sabbath observance, Hayon confirmed she has refused numerous opportunities. She specifically mentioned declining jobs that require revealing attire and stated she has never worked on the Sabbath.
