Political Commentator Praises Netanyahu as Israel's Top Politician

Political commentator and media advisor Attila Somfalvi has lauded Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, asserting that Netanyahu is the best politician in Israel, regardless of his age. Somfalvi criticized other political commentators for what he described as a superficial and contemptuous view of Netanyahu, suggesting they fail to recognize the prime minister's relentless work ethic and strategic maneuvering to bolster his political bloc.

Somfalvi argued that Netanyahu's success is not due to luck but stems from his active engagement, including pressuring opponents, holding meetings, managing media, and employing fear tactics. He acknowledged Netanyahu's failures in other areas but emphasized his unparalleled skill and ruthlessness within the political arena, describing him as the "deadliest animal in the jungle."

In a separate development, Somfalvi also stated that Avi Kara "must be in the Knesset and in the government." Kara, who previously served as a Knesset member and Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Office between 2021 and 2022, failed to cross the electoral threshold in the 2022 elections with his Economic Freedom party. Reports indicate Kara is currently in discussions with former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett about joining Bennett's new 'Yahad' party. Bennett has so far announced six other candidates for the Yahad party's Knesset list.
