Meitav Investment House Sends 1,000 Employees on Two-Day Retreat
Meitav, Israel's largest investment house, recently sent its 1,000 employees on a two-day "team-building" retreat near the Sea of Galilee. The company booked the Gome and Nebel David hotels in Migdal and Kibbutz Ginosar for the event. Employees participated in "both dry and wet" attractions at Giy Beach and enjoyed evening performances by singers Lior Narkis and Neta Barzilai. An internal message to employees described the retreat as "two days that just don't stop" and encouraged them to "pack smart" and bring "good energy." The choice of the Sea of Galilee area was influenced by the difficult period the northern region experienced during the recent conflict. Meitav concluded the second quarter of 2026 with increased revenues and net profit, attributed to a rise in assets under management and management fees from pension, provident, and trust funds. CEO Ilan Raveh stated that the first half results were strong and exceeded plans, with the company projecting over a 25% increase in profitability for 2026 compared to 2025, subject to market conditions.
