Child Injured in Vehicle Collision in Lod
A 9-year-old boy was hospitalized in moderate condition after being struck by a vehicle in Lod on Tuesday afternoon. The incident occurred at approximately 1:21 PM on Hahashmonaim Street.
Emergency medical services, including paramedics and medics from Magen David Adom (MDA) in the Ayalon region, responded to the scene. They provided initial medical treatment to the child, who sustained head and limb injuries.
The boy was subsequently transported to Shamir-Assaf Harofeh Medical Center for further care. The circumstances leading to the collision are currently under investigation.
