PR Guru Rani Rahav Slams Gideon Sa'ar Over Remarks on Gadi Eisenkot

Public relations expert Rani Rahav launched a scathing verbal attack against Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar, defending former IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot. The dispute erupted after Sa'ar, in a controversial interview on the Ynet podcast "120 and One," questioned Eisenkot's qualifications to be prime minister, stating he lacked the necessary political and ministerial experience and calling his potential leadership "delusional and a sure recipe for failure."

Rahav responded forcefully on social media, dismissing Sa'ar's criticisms. "Mr. Sa'ar, I'm sorry, Gadi is not a political [expletive]!!!!!!" Rahav wrote, emphasizing Eisenkot's integrity. He contrasted Eisenkot with current right-wing leadership, stating, "A great chief of staff is better than dwarfs who are afraid of Ben-Gvir and Smotrich. I'm sorry."

Sa'ar had specifically challenged Eisenkot's achievements as a minister and Knesset member, arguing that his extensive military background did not compensate for a lack of practical political experience. Sa'ar also claimed that the most significant wartime decisions occurred after Eisenkot and his faction had already left the government cabinet.

This is not the first time Rahav has publicly voiced strong political opinions and criticized right-wing leaders. He recently urged right-wing voters to support figures like Ofer Winter or Gilad Erdan, harshly criticizing the political platform of parties led by Bezalel Smotrich, calling them "racists who didn't want to return hostages" and accusing Simcha Rothman of responsibility for the October 7th attacks.
