Ofer Vinter Pledges Uncompromising Effort to Draft Haredim into IDF

Ofer Vinter, chairman of the "Amcha Yisrael" party, announced that his party will recommend Benjamin Netanyahu for prime minister, positioning his party within the right-wing bloc. Vinter stated that while many have welcomed this decision, some have been negatively affected by it. He also addressed recent criticisms and reports concerning his party, asserting that "Amcha Yisrael" presents a clean, new, upright, and fighting slate of candidates dedicated to serving all Israeli citizens without sectoral bias.

Vinter claimed that various elements are attempting to dismantle his party by spreading "spin and lies" and trying to frighten the public. He emphasized the unity of his party members behind their platform and their determination to serve soldiers and their families at any cost, while not making concessions to those who do not participate. He specifically highlighted the party's commitment to integrating the Haredi (ultra-Orthodox) public into the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

"I promise you, we intend to bring about the integration of the Haredi public into the IDF without compromise or delay," Vinter declared. He stressed that his party would not accept any excuses or postponements regarding this issue, indicating a firm stance on ensuring Haredi men fulfill their military service obligations.
