Israeli Official Urges Jewish Leaders to Visit West Bank
Israel Gantz, head of the Binyamin Regional Council and chairman of the Yesha Council, met with dozens of global Jewish community leaders on Wednesday as part of the Foreign Ministry's J50 forum. Gantz urged the leaders to visit the West Bank (Judea and Samaria) to witness the reality on the ground firsthand.
During the meeting, Gantz presented his perspective on the situation in the West Bank, addressing what he described as an international campaign of lies and delegitimization against Israeli settlements and the State of Israel. He called on the community leaders to actively participate in the public relations effort and voice their positions on the international stage.
"The struggle for Judea and Samaria is an integral part of the struggle for the State of Israel," Gantz stated. "In the face of an international campaign of lies that tries to portray a non-existent reality, we must together raise a clear voice based on truth and facts."
Gantz invited the participants to strengthen their connection with the region, saying, "I invite you to come to us, to see with your own eyes, and to connect your communities to Judea and Samaria." He concluded by thanking the Foreign Minister and the ministry for hosting the event and the community leaders for standing with Israel.
