Reality Show Contestant Slams Network for 'Crossing All Lines'

Adi Buzaglo, a contestant on the first season of the reality show "Power Couple," has publicly criticized Channel 13 for its handling of the show's finale, stating that "all boundaries were crossed." Despite Adi and her husband Assi Buzaglo holding the largest cash prize heading into the finale with 493,000 shekels, the public vote ultimately awarded the win to Uri and Ana Banai.

During the show, Adi Buzaglo shared her personal struggles, including her hearing impairment, describing herself as "on the verge of being deaf" and relying on her husband and children as her "ears." She also revealed that she suffered a torn calf muscle during a challenging final task, unaware of the injury at the time. The couple, married for 20 years, stated that the show's intense experiences helped strengthen their relationship.

However, Buzaglo expressed deep dissatisfaction with the show's broadcast, particularly the finale, in an Instagram post. She explained that her negative feelings stemmed from the "way things were conducted" rather than the outcome of the competition. Buzaglo felt that certain moments involved discourse that crossed lines and that things felt "much more than a game."

She further alleged that a moment where Assi questioned the show's management was cut from the broadcast. Buzaglo concluded by expressing shame about her participation in the event as it was presented on screen, emphasizing that her pain was not about winning or losing but about the "behavior" and the "boundaries that were crossed." She did, however, congratulate the winners, Uri and Ana Banai, stating they were deserving. Following her statement, Buzaglo removed all references to her participation in the show from her Instagram page.
