Maya Wertheimer Cries After Husband Asaf Zamir Accidentally Cuts Her Hair

Maya Wertheimer, a well-known Israeli television personality and influencer, shared an emotional video on her Instagram stories detailing an incident where her husband, Asaf Zamir, accidentally cut her hair. Wertheimer had asked Zamir, who also serves as the Deputy Mayor of Tel Aviv, to cut the hair tie holding her ponytail. However, Zamir mistakenly cut into Wertheimer's hair along with the tie.

Visibly upset, Wertheimer described the event as a "human error" and expressed that she was still too upset to find humor in the situation, telling her followers, "Maybe it will make you laugh, because it still doesn't make me laugh." She added that she was "finishing crying about it."

Zamir also shared his reaction on his own Instagram stories, calling the incident "the scariest thing that has ever happened to me, maybe." Wertheimer suggested that perhaps she was also partly to blame for allowing Zamir near her hair with scissors.
