Hanoch Daum's New Show Tops Ratings Amidst Fierce Competition
The new prime-time program "Life is Indeed a Difficult Period" hosted by Hanoch Daum on Israel's Channel 12 achieved a 10.7% rating, drawing 279,000 viewers and securing the top spot in its time slot. However, the ratings reveal a highly competitive landscape for Channel 12.
Channel 14's "The Patriots" program closely followed with a 7.6% rating and 193,000 viewers, significantly narrowing the gap with Daum's show despite considerable differences in resources and exposure between the two channels. In contrast, Channel 13's "Four Weddings" garnered only 5.8% and 187,000 viewers, placing it behind both Channel 12 and Channel 14.
The success of Channel 14 extended beyond prime time, as its evening news broadcast also outperformed Channel 13's news. Channel 14's main news edition recorded a 6.5% rating with 156,000 viewers, compared to Channel 13's 5.2% rating and 134,000 viewers.
