Netanyahu Meets Student Who Faced Bullying, Emphasizes Tolerance

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the "Derech" high school in Lod on Tuesday, accompanied by Education Minister Yoav Kisch and Lod Mayor Yair Revivo. The Prime Minister met with Yarin, an 11th-grade student who shared her experience of being ostracized and subsequently transferring to a new school.

Netanyahu spoke with Yarin about her ordeal and her decision to start anew at a different educational institution. During the visit, the Prime Minister also addressed the student body, discussing the upcoming school year, their future aspirations, and the importance of tolerance and respecting others.

"We must respect everyone's differences. The phenomenon of boycotts is unacceptable," Netanyahu told the students. He further encouraged them to embrace their individuality, emphasizing that "everyone is different." He also advised the students to learn how to use artificial intelligence tools, stating that "today there are programs that make it easier." He urged them to study subjects they love and excel in them to find their place in the world.

The Prime Minister's visit focused on addressing social challenges within schools and promoting a message of acceptance and personal growth.
