Uri Banai and Anna Gufman Win First Season of Power Couple
Uri Banai and his wife Anna Gufman have won the first season of the reality competition "Power Couple." In the finale, which aired Monday, the couple defeated fellow finalists Assi and Adi Buzaglo, and Omri and Dorin Kanda.
Banai and Gufman earned 399,000 shekels, accumulated throughout their journey on the show. The program, hosted by Ron Shahar, was filmed in India and is a new iteration of the former show "Winning Couple VIP."
Eight celebrity couples began the season, including influencer Odia Pinto and Elior Sofer, actors Hani Nahmias and Yehuda Elias, musician Ron Biton and Chen Sharon Shamir Biton, and singer Sharon Haziz and Ronen Noff. Reality stars Assi and Adi Buzaglo, social media personalities Shir Tern and Elad Turgeman, and soccer player Omri Kanda and Dorin also competed.
Pinto and Sofer finished in fifth place, while Tern and Turgeman placed fourth. The show generated considerable social media discussion, notably a task where Pinto failed to identify former Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin.
