Singers Release 'Thirteen Attributes' Song Born From Miracle

During the Days of Awe, a period of repentance and prayer in the Jewish calendar, singers Itzik Ackerman and Avrumi Weinberg have released a powerful new duet titled 'Yud Gimel Midot' (Thirteen Attributes). The song, described as a gift to Jewish music, aims to convey the boundless grace and love of God.

The composition of the song is tied to a personal miracle. The melody was written by young musician Yonatan Tolidano just one week before a deadly terrorist attack in the Ramot neighborhood of Jerusalem in late 2024. Tolidano miraculously survived the attack, and the song he had composed shortly before became a profound message about divine mercy. The song is being released a year after these events.

Ackerman and Weinberg, known for their emotionally resonant singing, have combined their voices to create a moving harmony. Their rendition of 'Yud Gimel Midot' focuses on the central theme of God's thirteen attributes of mercy, resonating with the spiritual introspection characteristic of the Days of Awe and the prayer for complete repentance.

The musical arrangement and production were handled by Avi Raimi and Yair Bodner, who blended traditional sounds with contemporary energy.
