Man Critically Injured in Violence Incident in Golan Heights Village
A 57-year-old man was seriously injured on Monday during a violent incident in the village of Ein Qiniya in the Golan Heights. Medical teams from Magen David Adom (MDA) treated the victim at the scene before evacuating him by helicopter to Rambam Hospital.
A 24-year-old resident of the village has been arrested by police on suspicion of assaulting the injured man. The suspect was taken for further investigation at a police station, with the incident’s background being criminal.
Separately, police on Sunday arrested Shalom (Charlie) Buzaglo, who had been sought for three months in connection with assaulting his partner. Buzaglo was apprehended hiding in an apartment in Dimona. The investigation into that case began three months ago following a report of a severe violence incident in Ashdod. Buzaglo had fled his residence and attempted to conceal his tracks, prompting an extensive manhunt and a public appeal for his location.
