Radio Host Berkovich Cuts Ties With Friends Over Netanyahu Support

Radio host Eyal Berkovich announced on air Monday that he has severed ties with friends who are staunch supporters of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, referring to them as "Bibi-ists." Speaking on 103fm, Berkovich stated, "The entire Bibi-ist side, I can't stand you. I sit with you here, I respect you, but I can't stand that you are blind, that you are slaves." He added that he has personally cut contact with friends because of their political stance.

Berkovich also commented on Netanyahu's interview the previous night on Channel 14's "Patriots" program, observing that it was the first time he had seen the prime minister appear fearful, specifically of former IDF general Ofer Winter. The remark followed a controversial video released by Netanyahu on Sunday, in which he compared himself to a child being ostracized by his classmates. The comparison drew widespread criticism, with many arguing that Netanyahu himself is the one ostracizing the left-wing bloc, not the other way around.
