Rami Levy Expands Stock Store Concept Beyond Home Goods
Rami Levy's "HaStock Rami Levy" chain has opened its second location, a 3,000-square-meter store in Ramla's Kanyon Ramla mall. This expansion signifies the company's growing presence in the stock store market, which is attracting increasing numbers of consumers.
The new store's concept deviates from typical stock shops by offering a wider array of products beyond just home and leisure items. Alongside tools, toys, home decor, and vacuums, the store also sells dry food products, a category not always found in similar retailers. Notably, the store is also selling vehicles, including cars, expanding into significantly higher-priced items.
Future inventory plans include bicycles, with some models expected to retail around 200 shekels, ahead of the holiday season. The chain also intends to broaden its selection of board games and eventually offer electric bicycles and motorcycles.
This diversification aims to provide consumers with a one-stop shop for various categories, from groceries and household goods to tools, toys, and transportation. However, shoppers are advised to compare prices with other retailers, as a stock store does not automatically guarantee the lowest price.
Rami Levy plans to open two more branches this year in Be'er Sheva and Ashdod, with potential further expansion into other cities based on demand.
