Hapoel Rishon LeZion maintained their perfect start to the Liga Leumit season, securing a 2-1 victory over Kfar Qasem on Sunday. Goals from Dolav Azulai in the third minute and a strike from Exequiel Henty in the seventh minute gave Rishon LeZion a quick 2-0 lead. Yaniv Mizrahi opened the scoring for Kfar Shalem in the 15th minute with a long-range shot that exploited a goalkeeping error. Matan Beit Yaakov doubled their lead in the 24th minute after a well-worked team move. Kiryat Yam fought back with goals from Sako Sila and Ofek Attias in the 33rd and 59th minutes respectively, but Yoav Honio scored the winner for Kfar Shalem, securing their second win of the season.
