Likud Party List Sees Shifts After Primary Vote Recount

The Likud party's Knesset list has undergone several changes following a recount of primary votes, with some candidates moving up and others down the rankings. The top eight positions, held by Eli Cohen, Amir Ohana, Yariv Levin, Miri Regev, Ofir Katz, Yoav Kisch, Miki Zohar, and Almog Cohen, remain unchanged, as does Amihai Chikli in ninth place.

The first significant shift occurred between the 10th and 11th spots. Moshe Saada gained 404 votes, moving from 11th to 10th place, pushing Dudi Amsalem down from 10th to 11th.

Further down the list, Shlomo Karai dropped from 13th to 15th after losing 381 votes. In his place, Boaz Bismut rose to 13th, and David Bitan climbed to 14th. In another notable change, Eva Eti Atia jumped from 20th to 18th after an addition of 547 votes, the largest correction. Conversely, Gila Gamliel fell from 18th to 20th, having lost 333 votes. This has created a tight race around these positions, with Avihai Boaron at 21st now only 46 votes behind Gamliel.

The most dramatic alteration occurred at the bottom of the list, where Afif Abed plummeted from 55th to 64th. This was due to 471 votes mistakenly attributed to him being removed after a data entry error caused incorrect vote allocation. These ongoing adjustments highlight the volatility of the list, where small vote differences can significantly impact candidate placements.
