Hapoel Be'er Sheva Eyes Portuguese Midfielder Bernardo Folha

Israeli football club Hapoel Be'er Sheva is reportedly considering Portuguese midfielder Bernardo Folha as a potential replacement for departed player Kings Kangwa. Folha, 24, who previously played for Porto's youth teams and represented Portugal at the under-21 level, is currently a free agent. His estimated market value is around 500,000 euros, according to Transfermarkt.

Folha is also being monitored by clubs in Greece and Portugal and is evaluating several offers. He developed at FC Porto, spending most of his career with their second team in the Portuguese second division, where he scored 6 goals and provided 10 assists in 80 appearances. He made 14 appearances for Porto's senior team, including two in the Champions League.

In the last two seasons, Folha played for Al-Wahda in the United Arab Emirates, scoring one goal and assisting another in 29 matches. Hapoel Be'er Sheva is also still attempting to sign Brazilian player Lallana. The club is actively seeking significant new signings as the 2026-2027 season has already begun.
