Golan Heights Residents Warned of Explosions During Military Drills
Residents of the Golan Heights have been notified of extensive military training exercises scheduled to take place over the next two weeks. The drills, which involve various military units, are intended to enhance the readiness and defense capabilities along Israel's northern border. The military emphasized that these exercises were planned in advance and that the sounds of explosions will be audible, potentially including late-night activity after 11 p.m. on specific dates: August 30 to September 3 and September 6 to September 10. Officials stressed that these are solely training activities and there is no security concern or change in directives for residents.
As part of the preparations, Division 210 will conduct a divisional exercise on Wednesday between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. During this specific drill, increased movement of security forces and military vehicles is expected throughout the area. Communities participating in the exercise will receive advance notification through their local security officers.
