Basketball Association Rejects Omer Mayer's National Team Bid

The Basketball Association responded with surprise, questioning why Mayer was available for the senior team's current window when he had previously informed the U20 team that he did not receive clearance from his college to join them. The association stated that Mayer was not part of their professional plans for the current window but expressed belief in his future contributions to the national team.

Mayer had previously opted out of joining the U20 national team this summer to focus on his upcoming season at Purdue.
