Three-Year-Old Girl Injured in Car Accident Amid Protests in Bnei Brak Neighborhood

On Saturday night in the Metcham HaSofrim neighborhood of Bnei Brak, a three-year-old girl was lightly injured after being hit by a car during intense protests by residents against the blocking of streets with large construction containers. The incident occurred near the end of evening prayers, when tensions escalated due to the placement of these containers at the neighborhood entrance, which completely blocked traffic routes. The containers had been placed on Friday, closing the HaRav Landa bridge after secular residents forcibly removed safety barriers earlier.

During the heated protests, a vehicle was seen driving back and forth at high speed on the neighborhood road and struck the young girl, sparking further outrage among residents.
