Gantz and Ardan Hold Positive Talks to Form Centrist Political Bloc

Benny Gantz, leader of the National Unity party, and former minister Gilad Ardan met again at Gantz's home on Friday to advance efforts to create a joint political bloc in the center ahead of the upcoming elections. According to Channel 12, the meeting was conducted in a positive atmosphere, and both agreed to continue negotiations into next week. There is also consideration for negotiation teams from both sides to meet soon to begin outlining the details of the alliance.

During the discussion, Ardan emphasized that the success of the initiative depends primarily on establishing shared principles rather than disputes over candidate list placements. He stated that the public expects a clear vision and path before any division of roles. Gantz outlined his conditions for the partnership, including a commitment to form a broad Zionist government that does not rely on ultra-Orthodox or Arab parties, passing the "Draft for All" law before the government is sworn in, promoting state education for all Israeli children, and achieving a broadly agreed-upon judicial reform.

This meeting took place one day after Gantz publicly called for a unification of forces within the third political bloc, aiming to create a wide political alternative ahead of election day.
