Netanyahu Invites Ben Gvir and Smotrich to Talks to Unite Right-Wing Factions

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has invited Ministers Itamar Ben Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich to meetings scheduled for Sunday, aiming to promote a political alliance between Otzma Yehudit and Religious Zionism ahead of the upcoming elections. Netanyahu emphasized the importance of uniting the right-wing bloc to prevent vote loss, stating, "No vote can be wasted, we must unite to save the right-wing bloc!"

This invitation follows a video Netanyahu released the previous evening, in which he urged Ben Gvir and Smotrich to run together on a joint list. The prime minister highlighted that historically, the right-wing bloc has succeeded when united and faced setbacks when divided. He warned that if right-wing parties fail to pass the electoral threshold, it could result in lost votes and weaken their position.

The meetings come exactly two weeks before the deadline for submitting party lists to the Knesset, underscoring the urgency of forming a cohesive right-wing front ahead of the elections.
