Israeli Forces Near Completion of Operation Against Militants in Ali Taher Ridge, South Lebanon

After several months of complex military operations, Israeli security forces estimate that their campaign in the Ali Taher ridge area in southern Lebanon is nearing its conclusion. A significant portion of militant infrastructure identified in the region has been either neutralized or destroyed. The operation targeted not just a single site but a relatively large network of underground facilities beneath the ridge.

Security officials believe that some militants were killed inside these infrastructures during the operation. However, despite the substantial progress, some militants managed to escape before the forces could fully secure the area. This escape represents the main setback in the ongoing campaign.

The recent developments follow an incident where two explosive drones were launched toward Israeli forces in Lebanon, causing no casualties. In response, the Israeli Air Force struck several targets in southern Lebanon. These events highlight the continuing tensions and military activity in the border region.
