Moshe Feiglin's Recording Reveals Willingness to Be Ofer Winter's Deputy Despite Denials

Moshe Feiglin, chairman of the Zehut party, has been recorded stating his willingness to serve as the number two to Ofer Winter, contradicting his earlier denials. In an interview published by C14, Feiglin explicitly said he would accept the role within a "decent technical bloc," describing the arrangement as purely technical and without significant meaning.

Feiglin also clarified that he currently has no contact with Winter, explaining that Winter has "closed the door on all attempts to establish contact." He noted their past acquaintance, mentioning mutual visits to each other's homes, but stressed that Winter is now largely disconnected from other right-wing candidates. Regarding possible negotiations with the Noam party, Feiglin neither confirmed nor denied any discussions, stating he is in contact with many groups but prefers to keep details private.

Beyond coalition talks, Feiglin expressed his political ambitions, aiming to become Israel's next defense minister. He criticized the current government for missing what he called its greatest opportunity: to annul the Oslo Accords, swiftly regain control over the Gaza Strip, and secure a victory for the Israeli people. When asked about Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's achievements, Feiglin sarcastically credited Netanyahu's past success as finance minister but labeled his security and diplomatic record as a "rolling disaster."
