Senior Analyst Predicts Netanyahu Will Lose in Upcoming Israeli Elections

Barak Seri, a senior political analyst, spoke on 103FM on Thursday morning about the fragmented right-wing parties ahead of the Israeli elections. He emphasized that the next two weeks are critical, as they will determine the election outcome. Seri expressed his belief that in this election, Benjamin Netanyahu is finished politically.

Seri argued that Netanyahu must take action to consolidate the right-wing bloc to prevent vote splitting, which is now much harder than before. He noted that Netanyahu currently has almost no communication with Ofir Winter, leader of the newly launched "Amcha Israel" party, which Seri believes will pass the electoral threshold following its recent launch. This contrasts with previous elections when Netanyahu was seen as the clear next prime minister, with polls showing his bloc at around 60 seats, making it easier for him to enforce discipline.

Looking ahead to 2026, Seri said Netanyahu appears much weaker, as reflected in current polls and numbers. He concluded that Netanyahu's ability to organize a strong right-wing coalition, as he did in the past, is now significantly diminished, reducing his chances of forming a government this time around.
