Man in His 60s Dies After Truck Hits Him in Tayibe

A man in his 60s was killed on Thursday morning after being struck by a truck in Tayibe. Emergency medical teams arrived at the scene around 6:40 AM following a report to Magen David Adom's 101 hotline about a pedestrian hit by a truck. Paramedics found the man unconscious and suffering from multiple severe injuries, with no pulse or breathing, and declared him dead at the scene. MDA paramedic Karam Araki described the victim lying near the truck, unresponsive and gravely injured.

This incident adds to a recent series of fatal pedestrian accidents in Israel. Just days earlier, a man in his 20s died after being hit by a vehicle near the Ha'ari interchange on Highway 2 in Netanya. Earlier this month, a 65-year-old woman was killed in a vehicle collision in Hadera, and at the end of July, a 67-year-old woman died after being struck by a taxi in Nahariya.
