Boro Park Rabbi's Son's Wedding Features Massive Ancestry Scroll Display

A unique and unprecedented feature was unveiled at the wedding of Rabbi Isaac Lapkowitz's son, held this week at the 'Laik Teres' banquet hall in Lakewood, New Jersey. The event showcased a giant ancestry scroll titled 'Zer LeChayil,' tracing over 1,250 ancestors of the bride and groom, connecting them all the way back to Abraham. The groom, Chananya Yom Tov Lapkowitz, and bride, Risa Zikerman, were honored with this extraordinary genealogical display.

The installation measured 3 by 10 meters and was created by Rabbi Yosef Nechemia HaKohen Kwadrat, a genealogist and artist from Kwadrat Legacy Studio in London. The scroll served as a partition within the hall and amazed all guests who saw it. Among those impressed was philanthropist Yoeli Landa, who was filmed touring near the display during the celebration.
