Deputy Minister Almog Cohen Harshly Criticizes Yoav Segalovich and Mansour Abbas

Deputy Minister Almog Cohen sharply attacked Yoav Segalovich and his political alliance with Mansour Abbas during an interview on the "Hamesh" program on Wednesday. Cohen accused Segalovich of disrespect, stating that while Mansour Abbas was dancing at home, Segalovich's police officers were captured on October 7. Cohen described Abbas as a dangerous jihadist who uses deception to conceal his ideology and criticized Segalovich for shaking hands with him despite the loss of officers under his command. Cohen also condemned Segalovich's past role as a police commissioner, saying he does not represent the Israeli police or the officers who risked their lives on October 7. He sarcastically referenced Abbas's recent statement recognizing Israel as a Jewish state and criticized the expenses allocated to Abbas's faction, calling it support for a terrorist sympathizer.
