Feiglin Says Zehut Will Not Join a Technical Bloc With Gantz
Moshe Feiglin, chairman of the Zehut party, denied reports on Thursday afternoon that his party was considering joining a technical electoral bloc with Benny Gantz’s Blue and White. He was responding to a report that a joint run could include the economic party led by Prof. Yaron Zelecha, along with Dadi Shimhi and Yoaz Hendel, together with Gantz.
Feiglin said Zehut would not take part in any such arrangement. “Zehut” is not interested and will not participate in any move of this kind, he said, adding that possible alliances would take place only within the national religious camp. He said cooperation with groups whose goal is to harm the Jewish majority or bring down a right-wing government is out of the question.
In his statement, Feiglin directly attacked Gantz, calling him “one of the direct partners in nurturing the Oslo concept in the security establishment and promoting the progressive line of preferring the lives of enemy populations over the lives of our soldiers,” which, he said, led directly to the October 7 massacre. “Cooperation with him is simply out of the question,” Feiglin said.
