Hapoel Tel Aviv are set to begin training this week, with only one signing completed so far, Jonatan Perbar, who arrived from Hapoel Haifa. Club officials are still working to finalize the deal for Reims winger Thiemo Diarra, who is expected to be the team’s marquee summer addition.
According to the report, there has been a significant narrowing of the financial gap between the club and the player, along with progress on other contract terms. The aim is to reach an agreement quickly so Diarra can join training and be ready for Hapoel Tel Aviv’s UEFA Conference League qualifying matches against Bulgarian side Ludogorets.
At the same time, Doron Leidner is expected to start preseason training with the squad. Hapoel Tel Aviv have already reached an agreement with Olympiacos to buy him back, and an official announcement is expected soon.
